Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation

Helping Children & Adults Live Healthier Lives

The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation is committed to improving health outcomes in the communities that Sprouts serves by supporting nutrition education, nutrition access, and health and wellness programs.

In schools, we provide donations that support gardening and cooking programs that teach children about fruits and vegetables, while also using the garden to bring science, math and problem-solving to life, making learning more engaging and fun. In the community, we support programs that help kids and families build healthy habits, expand access to fresh, nutritious foods, and promote wellness for all ages.

Since 2015, we’ve awarded $35 million in grants to 1,000 schools and nonprofit organizations. Sprouts covers 100% of the Foundation’s operational expenses, ensuring that every dollar donated to support the Foundation’s mission is used to advance these programs.
