This quarter, for TMAW, we are partnering with Sabor @ Sprouts in anticipation of Hispanic Heritage Month (Click here to learn more). Everyone who visits the Support Office Tuesday, September 10 through Thursday, September 12 between 7:30am – 9am and 11:30am – 1pm will receive five (5) free raffle tickets!
Giving Back
Make donations to the ALL In Education Book Drive to support their mission to build an Arizona where ALL communities have access to opportunity and justice and where no child is at risk of falling behind, where parents feel valued and supported and most importantly where ALL kids feel loved and honored in their classrooms. - Make donations in the Support Office lobby Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am – 9am and 11:30am – 1pm to receive a raffle ticket for each item donated!
On Thursday, September 12, join Sabor from 1pm – 2pm in Workshop 1 for an afternoon break to network and learn more about the inspiring work that ALL In Education is doing to help Latino children thrive academically in our community. Read more about the event below:
“When all students thrive at school, our entire community wins. However, in Arizona and beyond, schools often struggle to meet the unique needs of Latino learners. As a result, Latino students are more likely to fall behind their peers when it comes to reading readiness at third grade; math proficiency at eighth grade; and completion of high school graduation. ALL In Education is working to change this, by building a pathway to improve the educational experience for Latino students, while also supporting schools so that all students thrive.
Join Stephanie Parra, chief executive officer of ALL In Education, to learn more about the incredible efforts underway to engage parents, educators, and the broader community in Arizona’s educational system.
In partnership with Sabor and the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, ALL In Education launched Project Read—a dynamic Summer Reading Challenge which engaged 736 students in the South Phoenix community. This initiative provided students with engaging literacy experiences that fostered their reading skills through both traditional and interactive approaches, preparing them for the new school year.”
