At Sprouts we Care, we Own It, and we Love Being Different!
June is Pride Month! Pride Month is a time to spotlight LGBTQ+ culture, rights, and identity. It recognizes the struggles and achievements of the past for the community, and looks to a more inclusive future in America.
Pride Month has been around officially since 2000, when President Bill Clinton officially recognized June as Pride Month as an annual observance, but the first Pride march was held in June in 1970.
Find a way to celebrate Pride Month: read an informative book about the LGBTQ+ community, take part in exhibits and parades or marches in your community, talk to someone you love, learn how to be an ally and an advocate, or join the Rainbow Alliance @ Sprouts TMRG as a member or ally!
If you or someone you know is searching for information you can find Resources for the LGBTQ+ Community here.
