Celebrating Orlando: Sprouts hosted a grand opening celebration at the Orlando Distribution Center that included remarks from Sprouts leadership, displays from local produce vendors and Foundation partner Fleet Farming, and tours with media and store managers.

 

The Best Board: Real Simple shared tips for creating the best charcuterie board, including pro advice on selecting the best meats and cheeses from Sprouts Culinary Director Matt Pratta.

 

 

Angel City Suits Up with Sprouts: CBS Sports and Los Angeles Times wrote Los Angeles Angel City Football Club revealed their home kits for the inaugural 2022 season which feature Sprouts as a back-of-kit sponsor. Through the partnership, ACFC and Sprouts will rebuild eight Los Angeles school gardens with Garden School Foundation and distribute more than 10,000 pounds of fresh produce to the community with Food Forward.

 

Top Holiday Eats: Veg Out Mag included the Sprouts Farmers Market Cornbread Stuffing and Tattooed Chef Riced Cauliflower Stuffing available at Sprouts among its list of top vegan options for the season. Yahoo News shared Sprouts’ Pecan Pie ranked #2 among its taste test of eight grocery store options, mentioning “the filling was a deep caramel color, with flavors of molasses and dark corn syrup.”

Top Grocery Brand: Eat This, Not That! published a roundup of the top grocery store brands, ranking Sprouts at #7 out of 25 for its range of specialty organic items to pantry essentials, noting must-have items including frozen blueberries, blue corn tortilla chips, and vegetable broth.

Healthy Thanksgiving: Mashed.com included Sprouts in its roundup of the best places to buy a pre-cooked Thanksgiving dinner, noting Sprouts specializes in natural and organic foods making the meals a good fit for health-conscious shoppers. USAToday, Popsugar, The List and My Recipes shared Sprouts’ Thanksgiving Day hours on their retail roundups of the holiday.

Sharing Natural Remedies: The Packer and Progressive Grocer shared Sprouts hosted a livestream hosted by Maria Menounos with wellness experts Dr. Josh Axe, Jordan Rubin, Naomi Whittel and Candice Kumai offering remedies to address stress, inflammation and immunity. Expanding Healthy Food Access: Progressive Grocer a nd AndNowUKnow shared the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation is providing $3 million in grants to 115 nonprofit organizations to bolster local food systems, and improve school garden learning and nutrition education.

 

 

Awarding a Good Cause: PRNews awarded the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation’s “Growing School Gardens” campaign an honorable mention in its annual Platinum Awards which honor some of the most influential, inspirational and innovative changemakers in the industry.

Championing Change with Food: FoodTank recapped its panel on strengthening local food systems which included Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation Executive Director Lyndsey Waugh who emphasized when children experience school gardens and see how food grows, “they’re going to be committed to making those choices that are better for the planet and better for people.”

New Format with Jack: AFMA published an interview with Sprouts Chief Executive Officer Jack Sinclair in its recent issue, detailing the new format store features and images from store #9 – Phoenix, AZ.

New in Town: Progressive Grocer shared photos from the grand opening of store #636 – Tampa, Fla., which is the 25th Sprouts in the Sunshine State, while Patch.com published grand opening details and photos of store #443 – Menifee, Calif.
