WINNING CAPABILITIES

Happy New Year Sprouts Team Members!

We’re kicking off the new year by focusing on the concept of Winning Capabilities. Focusing on our own development as well as supporting our team’s development is critical part of providing and demonstrating Coaching & Feedback.

You can set an example of focusing on your own development by making sure you have an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and that you update it regularly. Also encourage your team to create their own IDPs. We often get caught up in the day-to-day work that needs to be done, and while our work can’t—of course—be ignored, taking five minutes in a weekly check in to discuss development goals can go a long way to show support for your team and help encourage a culture Care and guidance for personal development.

Use this job aid about creating an IDP to guide you and your team. Check in regularly on your goals and make sure you’re all working toward the same results.
