Henry Boney was a retail entrepreneur who launched the fruit stand that began Sprouts longstanding legacy of providing fresh food at great prices. Since 2009, the Henry Boney Memorial Fund has awarded more than $1.7 million in scholarships to help Sprouts team members and their dependents fund their college studies. This year Sprouts will award 50 scholarships worth $2,000 each.
Eligibility Requirements & Application
- The scholarship is open to team members with at least one year of employment at Sprouts as of the May 31 application deadline and an average of 15 hours or more per week. These team members’ dependents, ages 25 and under, can also apply.
- Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or are already registered in a full‑time or part-time undergraduate course at an accredited two‑year or four‑year college, university, or vocational-technical school.
- The scholarship application must be completed online by May 31, 2023, at 3 p.m. CT. Access the online application.
