Henry Boney was a retail entrepreneur who launched the fruit stand that began Sprouts’ longstanding legacy of providing fresh food at great prices. Since 2009, the Henry Boney Memorial Fund has awarded more than $1.1 million in scholarships to help Sprouts team members and their dependents fund their college studies. This year Sprouts will award 75 scholarships worth $2,000 each.
Eligibility Requirements
The scholarship is open to team members with a minimum of one year of employment at Sprouts as of the April 15 application deadline. These team members’ dependents, ages 24 and under, can also apply.
Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full‑time or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two‑year or four‑year college or university or a vocational technical school.
