“Grand Opening weekend was beyond what we expected,” said Melanie Gallegos, Store Manager at Store #166. “To see how the Rockwall community came out to support our opening was truly amazing. We had 476 customers waiting for our store to open on Friday and had another 100+ customers waiting for our store to open on Saturday morning as well. I’m very grateful and humble to open this location and serving the Rockwall community.”
On March 1, we welcomed Store #460 in Bakersfield, CA to the Sprouts family!
Jose Escalante, Store Manager at Store #460 said, “The people of Bakersfield have long awaited an opening of a second store and it finally arrived. Everyone was super excited to see our new store open!”
Store #460 hosted vendor sampling events as a part of their Grand Opening extravaganza.

Sprouts’ unwavering commitment to health and sustainability was on full display, and the community couldn’t be happier about it. This new store brings a diverse range of natural and organic products to the area, not just an addition, but a reason for celebration!”
February welcomed a new Sprouts store – #467 in Cudahy, CA to the Sprouts family!
Brian Yabur, Store Manager at Store #467 noted, “If every new store manager has the same Grand Opening experience that I had, then there is no reason that Sprouts won’t be successful!”
The excitement filtered to team members, partners, and customers.
“The Sprouts Farmers Market in Cudahy was one of the busiest Grand Openings by sheer volume of customers that I have ever witnessed,” said Corey Sanders, Grand Opening Specialist with Encore Worldwide, a Sprouts partner. “Opening day saw huge lines of people, both waiting to enter the store and at all of the cashier queues. Nearly every shopper expressed their gratitude for having a healthy food option now available to them, in what appears to be a health food grocery store desert.”
The city’s mayor and other local dignitaries joined the festivities for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by live music, giveaways, and tasty samplings all weekend.
